Rajasthan’s budget give relief to unemployed youngsters via an allowance

Jaipur: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had announced Unemployment Allowance to the unemployed youth of the state as soon as he came to power. Recently, presenting the budget on February 24, CM Ashok Gehlot also announced an increase of Rs.1000 in unemployment allowance in the state. The Mukhyamantree Yuva Sambal Yojana would benefit about 2 lakh youth. The Rajiv Gandhi Youth Corps would be set up to disseminate the schemes of the state government to the general public. This will elect 2500 Rajiv Gandhi youth friends.

Under the unemployment allowance, the Rajasthan government will provide Rs 3,000 per month to unemployed boys and Rs 3,500 per month to unemployed girls. Unemployment benefits will be provided by the Rajasthan government to educated unemployed youth who have passed at least Class XII. The age limit of the applicants for this scheme is fixed between 21 years to 35 years.

Unemployment Allowance Scheme – 2021 Eligibility

  • Applicant must be a permanent resident of the State of Rajasthan.

Under this scheme only educated unemployed youth and women of Rajasthan will be considered eligible.

  • The family’s annual income should be Rs. 3 lakhs or less than that.
  • The age of the applicant or applicants should be between 21 to 35 years.
  • Unemployment Allowance Scheme – 2021 can be availed by at least 12th pass youth.
  • A youth who has availed the benefit of other allowance schemes of Central or State Government cannot avail the benefit of this scheme.

  • Applicant or Applicant’s Aadhaar Card / Identity Card / Residence Certificate
  • Income Certificate / Rajasthan SSO ID / Bhamashah Certificate of Rajasthan / Mobile Number / Passport size photo is required.
