CM of Punjab warns Punjabis regarding increasing cases of corona.

Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh addressed the people during his weekly Facebook Live as usual and answered their queries. Meanwhile, Capt Amarinder Singh highlighted the situation of coronavirus in Punjab. Expressing concern over the rising number of corona cases in Punjab, Capt Amarinder Singh issued a stern warning to the people of Punjab.

He said that people were not following the instructions issued by the Punjab government due to which the risk of corona outbreak was high. He said I do not want the situation in Punjab state to get worse and we have to work harder then we will,” he said. He expressed concern over the deteriorating situation in Ludhiana, Patiala, Jalandhar, and Hoshiarpur.

The Chief Minister also appealed to the people to follow the instructions completely. He said that all religious places like temples, gurdwaras, etc. should wear masks and avoid overcrowding as wearing masks alone saves 75% of the population, hence people should not wear masks at religious places. Do not allow entry.

The captain said that for those who do not wear masks, the penalty of Rs 500 has been increased. The increase in fines is due to the fact that people have become indifferent and the higher the fine, the better and people will follow the instructions.

Amritsar sahib becomes the hot zone in Punjab.

The threat of coronavirus is steadily increasing in the Amritsar district. In the district where a 49-year-old woman died today due to corona, 46 new cases have come to light including those of a central jail employee and the wife of a district family welfare officer.

The number of corona positive patients in the district has now risen to 1491, while the number of deaths due to the virus has risen to 66.

Besides, there are now 305 active cases in the district and 1120 patients have recovered and returned to their homes. According to information received, Paramjit Kaur, 49, a resident of Ranjit Avenue A Block, was admitted to a private hospital in the district due to chest infection besides corona positive, who died today.
